Topic: Camera on Arrow
I tried this several years ago with a Korean bow and arrow, but the cameras were too big then. Maybe I'll try it again someday.

I love the sound that the arrow makes mid-flight --- it's like a rocket engine.
Wow, looks fun!! I try, too !!
How about these cameras
Hmmm... Kind of expensive (and the pics go by too fast to see them well). Probably more like this: http://www.buy.com/prod/qi-640-480-digi … 32559.html
There is many option! I bought the first camera.
It's just 32,000 won and free delivery. hehe.
and I think... pen camera is not good for arrow, plz check the pen cam's lens location.
Which camera did you buy? You're right, the pen will only give you a side view, but that could also be interesting. Here is another one: http://www.meritline.com/high-definitio … rce=fghdac
I sent a message to the fellow in the video asking what he used; I'll let you know what I hear from him.
I heard back from the fellow who made the video. He got the spy cams off eBay. I found the cam he used; because of their cheap price, they are basically disposable:

Here are his arrows w/cam:
Maybe we ought to buy a bunch of them
hehe.. That's it!
I bought that camera
It'll arrive tommorrow..
but.. that is really cheap !!!! R$#%#$@
I'm just waiting to hear from the distributor as to how much shipping will be when buying multiple units. I'm sure I will go through a few of them.
Unfortunately, the distributor said there is no savings on buying multiple units. So, for something that weighs next to nothing, it will be $6.55 each even if you bought several at one time...
I still ordered three of them (chances are at least one will probably be a dud).
Look what you've started, Tom. (I just purchased 3 for myself, too.)
Just a case of who posts the video first now then. Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'Be the arrow'.
I am fail
Camera was broken... just one shot
It's very weak!! ㅜㅜ
Sorry to hear that. We'll see what happens with what Justin, I and others do.
hahaha!!!!
I fix it, the broken camera!
and I got the first fly movie file
but it has some recording problem
I'll try tomorrow morning again!!

this is test movie

arrow is too much fast.. It flies alomst 120m.... in few seconds
My camera was brocken again!!!
But the real problem is... when arrow is impact with ground, cam takes a lot of shock!
It makes recording problem. camera has the data, but it can't express the images.
I found almost 1GB movie file in the camera, at first flying
but it has just 11second image
for succesS, camera must keep the power after the landing(?) or crashing!!
hm... I'll try again. I made a small shock absorber on arrowhead.'
But real problem is.... I NEED A ONE MORE CAMERA!!! ㅜㅜ
I think your camera is a little too far forward on the arrow. If you look at where the fellow in the original video put the camera, it was back further.
I think make a longer arrow, perhaps 36-38 inches so you don't lose draw length :s
And obviously bigger feathers, the original arrows ares equipped with something like 6 feathers, aren't they?
